Flowers for me……beautiful card for him!! That’s about what Valentine’s Day was for us. I was very happy to get these beautiful roses brought by the Fed Ex guy on Monday afternoon which made my routine hohum day Awesome!! He knows how to make me feel special. I am not so good at thinking ahead, so I just went with a pretty bright red and white card for my half Polish hubby. He loved it. I put a really mushy computerized message inside which really did the trick. Just tell them you will love them forever no matter what ?!$%^#$ and you’re good to go. This card uses some pretty patterned paper from PaperTreyInk layered on top of a real red card and a layer of black cs. The large scalloped circle is cut with my Spellbinders petite circle Nestibilities and it is cut from the new sparkle paper from Stampin Up. Pretty…huh? The stamps are Hearts and Love clear stamps from Inkadinkadoo that I got at AC Moore and I inked them up with SU real red ink and black ink for the sentiment. Those swirlies are from my Marianne Die and the little hearts are cut with my new tiny little SU heart punch. Oh, I cut the white cardstock with the Nesties Label Five and sponged the edges with a little black ink. The white layer is raised up with some dimensionals and lastly …..for the Sparkle, I added some Stickles to the white flowers on the hearts and rhinestones on the swirls and sentiment…Whew!!! Sounds like a lot…..but don’t tell hubby…..it was a breeze to make!! Thanks for stoppin by to take a look.
